Splish, splash, we're having a bash! Dive into an ocean of fun at Guppy Gala. Bring the whole gang for a night of tasty treats, silly songs, and fun. This annual family-friendly event offers our many guests exciting animal encounters, yummy food, and a variety of spectacular activities:

A mock construction site - Rock-climbing walls
- Obstacle courses
- Mazes
- Costumed characters
- Jugglers, gymnasts, and musicians
- Live entertainment
Every year, children ages two to 12 participate in a wild party unlike any other, while raising funds to support animal care, conservation science, education and sustainability at the National Zoo. A swimmingly fun time is waiting for you!
Please note: This event is not peanut-free. Please be aware that we cannot guarantee that traces of nuts are not present in food products available at the event.
We have a limited number of parking passes and will distribute them as follows:
- If you purchase one to five tickets in a single transaction, you will receive one parking pass.
- If you purchase six tickets in a single transaction, you will receive two parking passes.
Take Metro
We encourage everyone to take public transportation to the Zoo. Street parking in the area around the Zoo is very limited.
