Thursday, October 30, 2014, 6:30 - 10 P.M.

Prepare to witness death defying acts and amazing oddities at the Zoo's annual Halloween event, Night of the Living Zoo. With live music, a costume contest, performance artists, and glow in the dark lawn games, it's a wicked night of fun that you won't want to miss.

General Admission Ticket

Includes live music, performance artists—including fortune tellers, fire breathers, illusionists, as well as access to animal exhibits after hours and glow in the dark lawn games. Also, all guests will receive complimentary water and soda.

VIP Ticketholders

Includes access to an exclusive VIP area, heavy hors d'oeuvres, animal demonstrations, private tarot card readings, a karaoke DJ, and 2 tickets for adult "elixirs."

The Fine Print

You must be at least 21 years old to attend this event. A valid ID is required for admission. Tickets are non-refundable, non-transferable, and non-replaceable. This is an adults-only event. Babies and children will not be admitted. Please drink responsibly. Smoking is not permitted at the Zoo. Night of the Living Zoo will be held rain or shine.

Frequently Asked Questions

Will there be animals at the event?

There will be after-hours access to the Small Mammal House, Great Ape House, Reptile Discovery Center and Think Tank. Also, the lions and tigers will be on exhibit. Please remember the welfare of the animal is our priority, so animal demonstrations may be canceled if it is in the best interest of the animal.

Are concessions available?

Yes, food and beer, wine, and a specialty cocktail will be available for purchase. There will be a several food trucks as well as food carts. Credit cards are accepted at many, but not all of the food trucks. ATMs are located inside the Zoo at the Visitor Center and Mane Restaurant.

Food is available for purchase from some amazing food trucks that will be on site. Not all of the food trucks accept credit cards. ATMs are located at the Visitor Center and inside the Mane Grill. Don't miss these exciting participants:

Where is the Event Located in the Zoo?

Night of the Living Zoo will be located in the middle portion of the Zoo between Small Mammal House and the Carousel. The Small Mammal House is about a 10 minute walk from the top of the zoo. There will be two registration locations; one will be by the Small Mammal House, the other will be at the bottom of the zoo by the clock tower across from the Harvard Street Bridge.
