Sunset Serenades
July 22, 29, and August 5
Every summer, people flock to the Zoo's Lion/Tiger Hill for our free summer concerts. Musical performances range from jazz and folk to blues and rock and roll. We encourage visitors to bring a picnic or purchase food, ice cream, beer and wine from Zoo vendors.
Take Metro!
We encourage everyone to save natural resources and take public transportation to the Zoo. Parking at the Zoo fills quickly, and parking in the neighborhood is very limited.
Take Metrorail to the Woodley Park-Zoo/Adams Morgan station or Metrobus routes L1, L2, or L4 (use the Connecticut Avenue entrance), or route H4 (use the Harvard Street entrance).
