ZooFari, the area’s premier food tasting event, features more than 100 of the area’s top restaurants all in the unique setting of the National Zoo. Proceeds benefit the Zoo’s conservation, research, and education programs.

This table includes ten ZooFari tickets, five valet parking passes, seating in a special area of the Zoo, and access to the Lion Lounge which includes the opportunity to watch the Zoo’s lions and tigers while you enjoy some of D.C.’s finest cuisine. The Lion Lounge also features a private bar, a dessert area, and special entertainment.

This VIP table includes ten ZooFari tickets, five valet parking passes, seating in a special area of the Zoo, the opportunity to attend a special pre-ZooFari cocktail reception, a private Zoo experience such as a tour or animal encounter with an animal specialist, and access to the Lion Lounge which includes the opportunity to watch the Zoo’s lions and tigers while you enjoy some of D.C.’s finest cuisine. The Lion Lounge also features a private bar, a dessert area, and special entertainment.

OYSTER RECOVERY PARTNERSHIP

A non-profit dedicated to producing and planting hundreds of millions of oysters back into the Chesapeake Bay. They will be with Zoo scientists in the pre-ZooFari VIP cocktail reception explaining how oyster shells are a limited resource that need to be recycled. Restaurants can make a significant contribution and the National Zoo is doing their part to promote this effort with all restaurants participating in ZooFari.

A number of animal demonstrations will occur during ZooFari. Details forthcoming.

Entertainment

Dance under the stars to a variety of musical performers. Details will be updated as the event approaches.

PARKING

Limited parking passes are available when purchasing ZooFari tickets. General parking will not be available the night of the event. Please do not plan on parking at the Zoo without a parking pass.

METRO Shuttle

Catch a ride from Panda Plaza to the Woodley Park/Zoo Metro Station. The shuttle runs every 20 minutes throughout the night.

ZooFari goes on rain or shine.

Please note that ZooFari is a non-smoking event. To be served alcohol, you must present a valid photo ID. Also, due to space limitations, no strollers are permitted.
