ZooFari brings together 100 of the Washington, D.C., area's finest restaurants, and 13 vintners from around the world for an evening of gourmet foods, fine wines, fabulous entertainment, a great silent auction, and dancing under the stars. You must be at least 21 years old to enjoy the fine wines. Please bring a valid ID.
Due to space limitations within the Zoo, no strollers are allowed during the event. Thank you.

Super Auction
The ZooFari Silent Auction will be filled with fabulous, fun, and furry treasures to add to your collection. Hundreds of partygoers will try to outbid each other on fantastic pieces of art, weekend getaways, fine wine, tickets to sporting events, delicious restaurant experiences, and much more.
A Great Evening for a Great Cause
Last year's ZooFari raised more than $300,000 to support animal care, conservation science, education, and sustainability at the Zoo. Over the years, proceeds from the event have funded a variety of Zoo initiatives, from new and improved exhibits in the Small Mammal House to construction of Amazonia and Think Tank, and conservation programs designed to save Komodo dragons, tigers, giant pandas, and other endangered species.
Oyster Recovery Partnership
The Chesapeake Bay's oyster population is only one percent of its historical peak. The nonprofit organization Oyster Recovery Partnership is dedicated to producing and planting hundreds of millions of oysters in the bay. Representatives from the partnership and Zoo scientists will be at the ZooFari VIP pre-party talking about how oyster shells are being recycled for this initiative. The Zoo is promoting this effort to restaurants participating in ZooFari.
