Kandula's Growth Chart

Kandula weighed 325 pounds when he was born on November 25, 2001. By the end of 2002, when Kandula was just 13 months old, he was tipping the scales at about 1,100 pounds! And by December, 2003, he reached nearly 2,000 pounds. This is just a smidgeon of what he'll eventually weigh: more than 10,000 pounds is typical of adult male Asia elephants.
