In recent weeks, Tai has been put in an exhibit adjacent to his den to help him get used to this new environment, where the public will see him in person from the other side of the glass. He always returns to his den before long but in early November, the cub and his mother lingered in the exhibit. A few times during the day and night, Mei even brought him into the exhibit from the den.
