Shera's eight-week-old cubs took a swim test today in the moat of one of the lion exhibits. This was one of the steps we needed to take in preparation for their time outside. We wanted to make sure that they could swim in case any of them end up in the moat when they're outside with their parents later this year. All four cubs kept their heads above water, and three of the four made a beeline for land!
