Sumatran Tiger Soyono and Her Three Cubs

The National Zoo's female Sumatran tiger, Soyono, gave birth to her third litter of cubs on May 24. Veterinarians examined the cubs on June 8 and learned that the litter consists of two females and one male, weighing 4.8 to 6.8 pounds each.
