Donkeys at Kids' Farm

Miniature Mediterranean Donkeys

The Kids’ Farm exhibits four gelded male miniature Mediterranean donkeys. The donkeys were received from the Lazy H Donkette Korral in Saylorsburg, Pennsylvania.

Name: George
Born: July 15, 2002
Description: George is white with gray spots. He is not a typical donkey in that his mane sits over to the side, and he does not have the “donkey's cross,” which is the dark stripe down his back with a smaller stripe across his shoulders.
Name: Pat
Born: September 18, 2001
Description: Pat is brown with a black muzzle. He is the oldest donkey at Kids' Farm and the most timid. He is often the last to do anything asked of him. You can barely see the “donkey's cross” on his back.
Name: Giuseppe
Born:April 19, 2002
Description: Giuseppe is brown with a white muzzle. He is is usually the first to attempt anything asked of him. You can barely see the “donkey's cross” on his back. He arches his neck and moves his lips when you scratch his chest.
Name: Flash
Born: June 28, 2002
Description: Flash is gray with a prominent “donkey's cross”. He is the typical donkey most people think of. Flash is the most dominant donkey in the group.
