Two-toed Sloth

Two-toed sloths spend most of their lives upside down in rainforest canopy. Their hair actually curves from stomach to back, which helps rain run off. Green algae grows in their hair, providing camouflage. They can't move along the ground very well, but they are good swimmers.

The Zoo's sloths live in the Small Mammal House and Amazonia.
