Reptile Moves When you picture a reptile moving, do you think of snakes slithering? Reptiles get around in a number of ways. Some snakes and lizards glide from tree to tree. Other reptiles climb walls; some run on water. And sea turtles "fly" through water using paddle-like forelimbs.
The paradise treesnake glides.
The Madagascar giant day gecko climbs.
The loggerhead sea turtle swims.
