Elephant Studies
Large mammals, such as elephants, are excellent indicators of the value of a region as a bridge for population movements because of their landscape level resource needs which lead them to move long distances in search of food and water. more

The Impact of Roads on Biodiversity
Essential to oil operations is the construction and use of transport roads, yet they lead to direct and indirect impacts on biodiversity. The secondary impacts of road construction have been identified as one of the threats for the Gamba Complex. more

The Impact of Logging on Biodiversity
Unless carefully managed, industrial logging can cause major forest disturbances. Much damage from logging results from the dense networks of roads, bulldozer trails, and small clearings in the forest. more
