Admission to the National Zoo is FREE. There is a fee for parking in Zoo lots, but we're located near Metrorail and Metrobus stops.

Please review the information on our panda pages before emailing us your questions. We are no longer seeking bamboo donations.
Students and Educators
We don't have the resources to answer everyone's questions about animals, what it's like to work at a zoo, or how we design zoo exhibits. We're unable to arrange student-staff interviews, job shadowing or answer a list of questions. Please see our fact sheets, field trip info, and other great education resources.
