Hunger Games

Week 2: June 27-July 1

It's survival of the fittest in this dog eat dog world. Investigate evolution, how animals have developed, and create your own theory on the future of a Zoo species. Will your species survive? How can you help? Your name has been picked, register now, and "may the odds be ever in your favor."

Week 4: July 11-15

You've heard that bats are blind, that you can get warts from toads, and that an elephant never forgets. But can these be true? Get ready to investigate and help debunk a new animal myth each day. If you've heard that science is boring, guess what? Myth BUSTED!

Ocean Avengers

Week 7: August 1-5

Avengers Assemble! The world's oceans are under attack and they need our help to save them! We'll use the Washed Ashore recycled material sculptures on temporary exhibit throughout the Zoo this summer to investigate the challenges that face our aquatic ecosystems. Then we will build our own Washed Ashore sculpture as we help spread this critical message!
