You've heard that bats are blind, that you can get warts from toads, and that an elephant never forgets. But can these be true? Get ready to investigate and help debunk a new animal myth each day. If you've heard that science is boring, guess what? Myth BUSTED!

Operation: Conservation

Week 6: July 27 – July 31

Your mission, should you choose to accept it: help the National Zoo save species. Defend the biodiversity of our planet by learning about the Zoo's efforts to rehabilitate black footed ferrets and Panamanian golden frog populations and then get on the case yourself! Do research, complete experiments, and create a plan to save an endangered species.

Week 8: August 10 – 14

It's survival of the fittest in this dog eat dog world. Investigate evolution, how animals have developed, and create your own theory on the future of a Zoo species. Will your species survive? How can you help? Your name has been picked, register now, and "may the odds be ever in your favor."
