Training Manuals
Each of our Educator Training Courses is accompanied by a training manual. These training manuals provide detailed information on identification techniques, research protocols, lesson plan ideas, and more, all of which is discussed and demonstrated in detail during our training courses. The manuals are not meant to stand alone, but are designed to help workshop participants use the skills and techniques learned during the training course to teach their students and colleagues once back in the classroom.
We offer several science-based training courses, as well as resource workshops at our training facility at the Conservation and Research Center in Front Royal, Virginia.
