Summer and winter range of the coastal plain subspecies of the swamp Sparrow (Melospiza georgiana nigrescens).

Summer

From May to September the Coastal plain swamp sparrow (CPSS) inhabits tidal marshes along the major tributaries of the Middle Atlantic states (Delaware, Maryland, New Jersey). These tributaries include the Delaware Bay, Chesapeake Bay, lower Delaware River and coastal Rivers of New Jersey.
