Each week the
Panama Amphibian Rescue and Conservation Project features a different species of frog to raise awareness of the thousands of frog species around the world threatened by habitat destruction, pollution, and the amphibian chytrid fungus. Nearly one-third of the planet's more than 5,000 frog species face extinction—and they all have a great story to tell.
If you have a photo of a frog you would like to share, you can do so at the
Cute Frog of the Week Flickr Page.
