SCIENTIFIC RESOURCES

The scientific and conservation communities have been fighting to stop the decline of wild tigers for almost half a century. While the technology and approaches to conservation have evolved the ultimate goals remain the same: stop poaching and increase the number of protected areas for tigers. Scientists are continually monitoring the population of tigers and trying to learn more about them. The more scientists, wildlife officials, and conservationists know the more they can do to help tigers bounce back and thrive. Read the research by scientists and wildlife organizations on tigers.

RESOURCES FROM GTI AND THE WORLD BANK INSTITUTE

(>LEADERSHIP) — The World Bank Institute (WBI) has launched a collaborative leadership program -- (>LEADERSHIP) or (>L) -- designed to help change-agents confront the challenge of the How. (>L) defines leadership as a process through which reform teams seek to comprehend and influence behaviors, mindsets, and values of various stakeholders.  These actors become catalysts for change by creating and sustaining coalitions often critical for moving development programs forward.
