Exhibit interpreters offer visitors a special insight into the animals, and operations of the National Zoo. Exhibit interpreters usually specialize in a particular group of animals. They learn about the natural history, care, and conservation of those species and then share that information with Zoo visitors. All interpreter programs require an initial minimum commitment of one year.
