Tour Guides

The Smithsonian Conservation Biology Institute's volunteer tour guides provide driving tours of the facility with a focus on research programs and the associated animals. These tours are targeted at an adult audience.

Special qualifications: A strong interest in science and conservation issues and ability to manage groups of people. Ability to walk on uneven ground throughout the year. Valid driver’s license required.

Time commitment: Three shifts a month and monthly meetings for one year.

Age requirement: You must be at least 18 years old to apply.

Training: No training scheduled for 2010.
