How Do You Zoo? is a wonderful exhibit of make-believe where children (and their parents or teachers) role-play zoo jobs.
This hands-on discovery room has four sections: a keeper office, a zoo commissary, a veterinary hospital, and an animal exhibit. Children pretend to be zoo staff by wearing uniforms and completing tasks at numerous activity stations.
How Do You Zoo? is located in the Visitor Center, down the hall from the National Zoo Store. It is usually open on Saturday and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Occasionally, it is open on other days.
