Something is always happening at the National Zoo. Daily programs include animal training, feeding demonstrations, and keeper talks. Visitors can get up close to a brown kiwi or an armadillo, watch an orangutan move overhead, see how sloth bears use their lips like a vacuum to suck up insects, ask an invertebrate keeper all about the octopus, and have lots of other special experiences. Watch this video to see what our demos are all about. And check our schedule of daily programs to find out what happens when!
