Follow 50 West to New York Avenue. Route 50 Turns into New York Avenue.
Continue on New York Avenue.
Turn Right onto Florida Avenue.
Continue on Florida Avenue to U Street (Florida Avenue turns into U Street).
Bear right onto 18th Street.
Follow 18th Street to Adams Mill Road. Once you cross Columbia Road on 18th you are on Adams Mill Rd.
Continue on Adams Mill Rd.
Turn Left onto Harvard Street.
The Zoo’s entrance is on Harvard Street at Adams Mill
Road.
Leaving the Zoo
Take the Harvard Street Exit at the bottom of the Zoo.
Bear right on Adam Mills Road.
Continue on Adam Mills Road to 18th Street (once you cross Columbia Road you are on 18th Street).
Continue on 18th Street.
Bear left onto U Street.
Continue on U Street to Florida Avenue (U street turns into Florida Avenue).
Continue on Florida Avenue.
Right onto 1st Street.
Left onto New York Avenue. Continue on New York Avenue to 50 East.
