2015 Camp Descriptions

Cool Critters (K-1)
Mittens and scarves keep humans warm but how do animals prepare for winter? Play games and make crafts in our cozy classroom as we explore how the animal kingdom gets ready for the big chill. Then zip up your jacket before investigating further on snowy walks through the Zoo to see the grey wolves, giant pandas, and brrrrds!

Frosty Fauna (K-1)
The Zoo is always buzzing with excitement—even in the winter! Come out of hibernation and meet our bears, lions, tigers, and more. Learn about your favorite frosty fauna through Zoo walks, science projects, and purr-fect crafts. This camp is sure to be Zoo-riffic!

Winter Wild (2-5)
Do you have what it takes to survive the long, cold winter? Learn some special survival techniques from our resident animals who love the snow. Brrr-ave the cold to meet experts in the field of animal science and species survival, and discover the important work they do. Then find out how you can protect wildlife at home!
