FONZ Photo Club

Friends of the National Zoo members now have the opportunity to join the FONZ Photo Club.

The FONZ Photo Club brings photographers of all skill levels together in a welcoming environment to share and learn about zoo photography. The club also raises money to support the Zoo by selling members’ photographic work at special events.

Club members meet monthly to hear interesting guest speakers and share and discuss photos with other club members. The club arranges unique photo opportunities at the Zoo at special member-only events.

Club members also have the opportunity to have their photos displayed on the Zoo’s webpage, publications, and on Zoo grounds.

The FONZ Photo Club usually meets on the first Tuesday of every month in the Zoo's Visitor Center at 7 p.m.

Zoo grounds close at 6 p.m. Please enter the Zoo through the Connecticut Avenue vehicle entrance and proceed to the side doors of the Visitor Center (next to the cheetah yards) marked Employees Only.
