New Coffee Farms Certified

Two new farms have been certified Bird Friendly®: Finca Argovia y Anexos and COOPCHEBI. Bird Friendly® coffee farms have a canopy of trees to shade the coffee and provide a sanctuary for birds with their abundant food and shelter.
The 521-hectare Finca Argovia y Anexo is located in the Chiapas region of Mexico, a prime area for migratory birds to winter.
COOPCHEBI is a cooperative located in Peru's department of Junín, with farms ranging from 1,400 to 1,800 meters above sea level—great coffee country. The 20 producers farm a total of 52 hectares in the community of Santa Erminia Palomar.
