Long-billed Curlews by Eric Rosenberg

Our first expedition for this project will be at the end of October to North Padre Island, Texas; a major stop-over and winter destination for many migratory shorebird species.

We will deploy satellite transmitters on 4 species of migratory shorebirds: Long-billed Curlews, Black-bellied Plovers, Marbled Godwits, and Red Knots.
