Is the Zoo open during the event?
Outside the event area, the buildings will be open until 6 p.m. and the grounds will be open until 8 p.m. The buildings in the event area will be closed.
Can I see animals at the event?
There will be scheduled animal demonstrations taking place in both the General Event Area and the VIP area. *Great Cats Circle will be open until 8:30 p.m., with the lions and tigers out in the yards.
*Please remember the welfare of the animal is our priority, so animal demonstrations may be canceled if it is in the best interest of the animal.
What is an Early Admission ticket?
Beat the lines! For an additional $20 early admission and VIP ticket holders will be given access to the general event site an hour earlier.
What is a "Sober Ride" ticket?
Sober Ride tickets for designated drivers are available. Tickets are limited and may sell out prior to the event date. Designated drivers must be 21-and-over. Designated drivers will not receive a complimentary mug, will not be allowed to consume alcohol, and will not be permitted in the VIP area. All ticket holders will receive complimentary soda and water.
Will food be available?
Yes, food will be available for purchase. There will be a several food trucks. Credit cards are accepted at many, but not all of the food trucks. An ATM is located inside the Zoo at the Visitor Center. A second ATM is located inside the Mane Grill.
Complimentary soda and water will be available for all ticket holders.
Will the carousel be operating?
Yes, the carousel will be running and tickets can be purchased at the event.

Do I need photo ID?
Yes, photo ID is required. Guests and designated drivers must be 21-and-over. Individuals under 21 will not be admitted into the event site.
Can I receive a refund?
No, ticket sales are final. No refunds or exchanges. The event will be held rain or shine.
What methods of payment will be accepted at the event?
Credit cards are accepted at many but not all of the food trucks. An ATM is located inside the Zoo at the Visitor Center. A second ATM is located inside the Mane Grill.
Can I buy group tickets?
Brew at the Zoo is a fundraising event and we do not offer group ticket rates. However, corporate packages are available. Please

Where can I find out where my favorite brewery will be located at the event?
Dowload the Pombe App to see the event map with beer locations and connect with friends and discuss your favorites. From the application menu select the "Event List" and select "Brew at the Zoo '15" from the "Current Events" tab. We will also publish a Brew at the Zoo map via social media a few days before the event.
Take a chance and win a prize! We will have a prize wheel at the event site. For three dollars, spin for a chance to win fun Brew at the Zoo prizes! Complimentary lawn games include Brew at the Zoo Corn Hole.
Will there be Brew at the Zoo merchandise?
T-shirts and other Brew at the Zoo merchandise will be available at a merchandise table in the event area.
Where is the event located in the Zoo?
Brew at the Zoo will be located in the lower portion of the Zoo by Lion/Tiger Hill. Lion/Tiger Hill is about a 10-15 minute walk from Connecticut Avenue. There will be one registration location by Lemur Island and the Carousel. Please note there will not be a registration location at the bottom of the zoo.
