Meet at the bridge to the Bird House
(located on Asia Trail overlooking the elephants)
Dear Neighbors,
We're excited to tell you that we're about to break ground to transform the Zoo’s 1928 Bird House into Experience Migration— a first-of-its-kind exhibit that immerses visitors in the annual journeys of western hemisphere birds
Currently closed, the Bird House is about to undergo a complete renovation! Construction is expected to start in early November. As part of our community, we'd like to invite you to visit the Zoo's bird plateau to learn more about Experience Migration.
This invitation is exclusively for our neighbors. Your whole family is welcome. Please note, only the birds on the plateau will be on view—flamingos, scarlet ibis, roseate spoonbill, red-legged seriema, king vultures, kori bustard, greater rhea, whooping cranes and blue cranes.
Best regards,
Pamela Baker-Masson
