Eat or Be Eaten: Primary

Eat or Be Eaten is the final series in the 2018-2019 Zoo Homeschool curriculum exploring "Amazing Animal Adaptations." Each series is a detailed exploration of a major category of animal adaptation and how various species have evolved different expressions of this adaptation to help them survive. Students may register for individual series or for the entire curriculum.

Eat or Be Eaten: In the animal world, someone always wants to have you for dinner! We'll investigate the incredible variety of adaptations driven by an animal's place in the food chain. Defensive mechanisms, evasive tactics, predatory behaviors, feeding strategies — it’s all on the menu in this series!

Class will meet once a week for five weeks.

The "primary" section of Eat or Be Eaten is appropriate for ages 5-8 and is a drop-off program. Children do not have to be independent readers and writers to enjoy class activities.
