Nature Cubs: Colorful Creatures
From golden lion tamarins to color-changing chameleons, the Smithsonian's National Zoo is home to some colorful characters! A different animal each week will help us explore all of the colors of the rainbow and understand how animals use these colors to survive.
Nature Cubs preschool classes use interactive learning stations, hands-on activities and crafts, Nature Play, animal artifacts and exciting Zoo walks to engage your child’s sense of wonder and curiosity about wildlife and the natural world.
Nature Cubs classes meet once a week for five weeks. Choose the day of the week you wish to attend during the registration process.
Note: Nature Cubs classes are for children and their adult buddies to enjoy together. Infants worn in a carrier or remaining in a stroller/car seat are welcome at no additional charge.
Age range: 2 - 3
