Poo at the Zoo

A red and white polled hereford cow named Rose standing in a muddy field

Who poos at the Smithsonian's National Zoo? All the animals do, that's who. Zoo scientists can learn a lot from poo; come to this class and so will you.

FONZ preschool classes are designed for children ages 3-6 to discover a whole new view of the Zoo. "Adult-and-me” format classes use interactive learning stations, hands-on activities and crafts, Nature Play and exciting Zoo walks to engage your child’s sense of wonder and curiosity about wildlife and the natural world.

Note: Poo at the Zoo is an "adult and me" program for children and their adult buddies to enjoy together. Registration fee covers one child with adult.
