Storybook Safari: Where the Wild Things Are

Gray Wolf

Learn about animals from some of our favorite children’s books! Pick your favorite book and character, or come to them all. These preschool classes will follow the same format and schedule as all other FONZ preschool classes.

Oct. 6 - Where the Wild Things Are: Join the wild rumpus! We’ll roar our terrible roars and gnash our terrible teeth as we learn about some of the wildest wild things at the Smithsonian’s National Zoo!

FONZ preschool classes are designed for children ages 3-5 to discover a whole new view of the Smithsonian's National Zoo. “Adult-and-me” format classes use interactive learning stations, hands-on activities and crafts, Nature Play and exciting Zoo walks to engage your child’s sense of wonder and curiosity about wildlife and the natural world.

Note: FONZ preschool classes are for children and their adult buddies to enjoy together.
