NOTE: Thank you for your interest in the June Member Celebration. The event is now at capacity, and RSVPs will no longer be accepted; you can still add your name to the waitlist, and if space opens up you will be contacted so you can register. Please check Member News for future member events, and we hope to see you at the Zoo soon!
Join Friends of the National Zoo at the Smithsonian’s National Zoo from 8 a.m. to 11 a.m. on Saturday, June 24 for the June Member Celebration, where members and their families get special treatment –including access to exclusive animal demonstrations and a peek behind the curtain at the conservation work done at the Zoo!
Members of all ages are invited to enjoy animal enrichment and keeper chats featuring gray wolves, ravens, seals, sea lions, and more along American Trail. Members can also hop aboard a shuttle to explore Research Hill, part of the Zoo rarely open to the public. Home to the Zoo's labs and research centers, members can tour the Migratory Bird Center, Center for Conservation Genomics and more.
This member-only event is free to attend. Not a FONZ member? Join today, and you can attend the June Member Celebration on June 24.
