The Zoo is free, but Entry Passes are required for all guests, including infants.

This summer visitors can travel back millions of years as the Smithsonian’s National Zoo presents a “Dino Summer” featuring two dinosaur experiences of prehistoric proportions — "Erth’s Dinosaur Zoo Live,” an experiential theater production featuring a larger-than-life dinosaurs, and “DinoRoars,” an outdoor exhibit of six massive animatronic dinosaurs that move and roar.

The fun doesn't stop with dinos! Catch a screening of the movie PANDAS and swing by one of the Zoo's new food trucks. Become a FONZ member today for special discounts during Dino Summer and all year long!

DinoRoars

It's a summer of prehistoric proportions! From June 1 to Sept. 2, take a self-guided safari around the Zoo to meet animatronic dinosaurs that move and roar.
