There is no doubt that Smithsonian curators are experts in their field. But how much do people know about the great work they do? Now, the public has a chance to test its knowledge about the National Zoo’s animal enrichment program. Participants can match wits with Heidi Hellmuth, curator of Enrichment and Training, and take the quiz.

The quiz is more than just a fun way for participants to gauge their expertise—it is also a great way to support the National Zoo.

Correct answers earn 10 cents for the Zoo’s animal care program. Each individual has the potential to generate 50 cents for the Zoo. Multiply that by 100,000, and the Zoo could get $50,000! What a difference that could make for animal care and conservation.

The Zoo’s quiz will remain live until April 8. By taking the quiz, participants are agreeing to receive future communications from Friends of the Smithsonian. They can unsubscribe at any time.
