All Smithsonian museums, including the National Zoo, continue to be closed to support the effort to contain the spread of COVID-19. We are not announcing a re-opening date at this time and will provide updates on social media and on our website

Grounds: 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. (last admittance 4 p.m.) | 7 p.m. closing in summer*
Exhibit Buildings: 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. | 6 p.m. closing in summer* (Amazonia opens at 10 a.m. year round)
Dining & Shopping: 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. | 5 p.m. closing in summer*
Visitor Center: 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. | 6 p.m. closing in summer*

*Summer hours begin March 15 and run through Sept. 30. Exact dates may vary each year. Please check back for updates.

Animal demonstrations, outdoor viewing and certain attractions, including the Speedwell Conservation Carousel, are weather dependent.
