Craig Shapiro is the founder and Managing Partner of Collaborative Fund, an investment firm managing over $1 billion in assets. Since its inception in 2010, Collaborative Fund has been at the forefront of investing in companies that blend profit with purpose, driving positive change while delivering strong returns.

Under Craig’s leadership, Collaborative Fund has become a leading platform for supporting entrepreneurs pushing the world forward. His eye for talent and innovation has led to early-stage investments in numerous billion-dollar companies, including The Farmer’s Dog, Lyft, OLIPOP, Reddit, Scopely, Speak, Upstart, and WHOOP.

In addition to participating on the boards of several Collaborative Fund portfolio companies, he serves on the advisory board of Circular Services, the largest privately held recycling company in the U.S.

Before founding Collaborative Fund, Craig spent a decade as a successful entrepreneur and operator. His angel investments in companies like Facebook and Kickstarter underscore his ability to identify and support groundbreaking ventures.

A native of Washington, D.C., Craig holds a B.A. in Political Science from Washington University in St. Louis.
