Birds in Flight

Get an up-close look at exotic birds as they soar overhead and exhibit natural behaviors in this FREE, limited-run show at the Smithsonian's National Zoo.

Join renowned bird behaviorist Phung Luu and his flock of exotic birds for demonstrations, photo opportunities and hand-feedings. Birds in this program may include owls, buzzards, falcons, macaws, parrots, ravens and more!

Birds in Flight takes place in the field across from the Mane Restaurant on the weekends of Sept. 7-8 and Sept. 14-15. The program begins at 10:30 a.m. and ends at 2:30 p.m.

Please note: Birds are exhibited at the discretion of the handler and may include all or some of the species mentioned above.
