How will your group be visiting the Zoo?

On Foot

For groups of 16 or more arriving together on foot or by public transit.

  • Groups must arrive together to use Walk-In Group Entry Passes
  • Everyone — including teachers, chaperones, and parents — must be included in the headcount
  • Entry valid only for your booked date and time
  • Reserve in advance to guarantee availability

By Bus

For groups arriving by school or charter bus.

  • Bus Parking Pass required to park at the Zoo. Fees vary based on availability and time of year
  • Use the Zoo's bus drop-off lot inside the Zoo with a free Bus Drop-Off Pass (limited availability)
  • No parking/drop-off on Connecticut Avenue — violators may be fined
