Finca Nueva Armenia is located in the department of Huehuetenango, Guatemala. This diverse region is bordered by Mexico and ranges from soaring mountain peaks to lowland tropical forests, with the extensive Sierra de los Cuchumatanes mountains creating a wide array of climates. They have been Bird Friendly certified since 2008.
Feathered fact: Overwinters in Central America. Males have distinguishable, almost entirely blue, plumage.
