BrewLights is a ticketed microbrew and craft beer event that takes place during ZooLights. Guests enjoy beer tastings from 41 breweries and enjoy light snacks, all under the bright lights of Washington, D.C.'s favorite holiday tradition. Volunteers are needed to help with registration and other associated roles.
This is an adult-only event. No children are permitted into the event areas.
Date: Thursday, Dec. 12, 2019
Time: Volunteer check-in opens at 4:30 p.m. Volunteer shifts are from 5:30-9:15 p.m.
Volunteer Roles: Volunteers will be assigned a role at check-in that may include (but is not limited to) helping with registration, greeting guests and helping to serve snacks.
Volunteers should be comfortable being outside and be prepared to complete a hilly, lengthy walk to their assigned station.
Staff will provide on-the-job training.
Staff and volunteers are prohibited from consuming alcohol at this event and may not visit booths to sample the food. This policy is consistent with the product sampling policy for all FONZ fundraising events.
Dinner will be provided.*
