ED&F MAN VOLCAFE PERU, S.A. was established in 2001 and is dedicated to sourcing and promoting high-quality and single-origin coffees from smallholders, cooperatives, and estates in the world’s main coffee-producing countries and importing markets. ED&F MAN VOLCAFE PERU, S.A. is located in the bustling central coastal region of Lima, with farmers from across Cajamarca, San Martin, Junin, and Pasco, the four main coffee regions of Peru.

“The Bird Friendly certification is important because it contributes to the conservation of biodiversity, and birds also serve as seed dispersers regenerating the biodiversity of the forests,” said Volcafe Peru’s Supervisor of Sustainability, Jennifer Katherine Rojas Ponce, “We feel convinced that the conservation of these birds generates a positive impact on the dynamics of the farms, and at the same time becomes a tourist attraction.”
