Bird Friendly® Resources for Zoos and Aquariums

A composite image of a songbird with a background of leafy green trees and the text "Zoos & Aquariums"

The Smithsonian Migratory Bird Center created a series of toolkits for Association of Zoos and Aquariums facilities interested in selling and supporting Bird Friendly® certified coffee. Each toolkit is uniquely tailored to meet the needs of zoos and aquariums at different points in their journey to support Bird Friendly.

While the development of these toolkits was informed by data collected from the zoo and aquarium community, the resources included can be used by museums, universities, environmental clubs, and nature-based organizations looking to sell or support Bird Friendly coffee.
